I spoke with members of the Park Board today and they understand our concerns. Plans for Island Park that may impact the Angel of Hope will be discussed with us. If that happens (and it may never happen or it may be many years since the Island Park plans will be implemented over a period of time (5, 10 or 20years)) we can respond appropriately. I wanted assurances that the Angel of Hope memorial and the bereaved parents who find comfort there will be treated with consideration, compassion, and respect.
